CINCINNATI, OHIO - DECEMBER 19, 2012 - Jim Alexander will be appointed as Communication Chair for the Cincinnati NAACP.  "Jim Alexander has been a committed member of the Cincinnati branch and I am looking forward to his continued service," Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said.

CINCINNATI, OHIO - DECEMBER 19, 2012 - Kristen Smitherman will be appointed Press and Publicity Chair for the Cincinnati NAACP.  Kristen is a young professional and graduated from the University of Michigan with a keen skill of communication. "I am honored to have her join the Cincinnati NAACP Executive Committee and look forward to her confirmation.  We continue to move forward," Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said.

CINCINNATI, OHIO - DECEMBER 18, 2012 - Brian Garry will be appointed Community Coordination chair. "Brian is a grass roots activist for the poor and homeless.  Brian will play a critical role over the next two years organizing our community around issues that are important to the Cincinnati NAACP," Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said.

CINCINNATI, OHIO - DECEMBER 18, 2012 - Elizabeth Sanford will be reappointed as chair of the Political Action Committee.  "Elizabeth has served in this capacity for the last 2 years and has done an excellent job for the unit.  She has provided tremendous leadership in educating the Cincinnati NAACP membership on voting and holding politicians accountable.  We are moving forward, Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said.
