CINCINNATI, OHIO - DECEMBER 10, 2012 - President Christopher Smitherman is happy to announce that Ishton Morton will be submitted for reappointment as Chair of the Labor Committee for the Cincinnati NAACP.  "I am proud to have Ishton Morton return as Chair of the Labor Committee.  I  am eager to work with Mr. Morton as we continue to move the Cincinnati NAACP forward.  He has been a long standing member of the Executive Committee and supporter of the mission of the NAACP," Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said.

CINCINNATI, OHIO - DECEMBER 9, 2012 - Lisa McQueen will be reappointed to her position as Chair of Education for the Cincinnati NAACP.  "Lisa McQueen has done an excellent job representing the youth and parents with Cincinnati Public Schools.  I am honored to have her back on Executive Committee Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said.

CINCINNATI, OHIO - DECEMBER 8, 2012 - Chris Finney will be reappointed as Chair of Legal Redress for the Cincinnati NAACP.   "Attorney Finney has done an excellent job representing the interest of the the Cincinnati NAACP membership.  I look forward to his continued leadership,  Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said.

CINCINNATI, OHIO - DECEMBER 6, 2012 - Former Council Member Sam Malone and Veteran of the United States Navy will be nominated by the president for Chair of Veteran Affairs for the Cincinnati NAACP.  After over a decade of war in this country it is important to have an active Veterans Committee at the Cincinnati NAACP.  "I have great confidence in Sam Malone's leadership and look forward to his contributions to the Cincinnati NAACP Executive Committee", Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said. 
 
(12/4/12): President Smitherman Appoints Reverend Dock Foster as Chair of Religious Affairs PDF Print E-mail
CINCINNATI, OHIO - DECEMBER 4, 2012 - President Christopher Smitherman will recommend the appointment of Reverend Dock Foster as Chair of Religious Affairs to the Cincinnati NAACP Executive Committee at the Annual meeting on December 20, 2012.  "I am very excited about Reverend Dock Foster joining the Executive Committee in the capacity of Chair of Religious Affairs.  I am confident that his leadership will be a positive addition to the Cincinnati NAACP," Smitherman said.
