(9/17/12): Cincinnati NAACP Prepared To Vote PDF Print E-mail

CINCINNATI, OHIO - SEPTEMBER 17, 2012 - The Cincinnati NAACP has been working hard to organize our members to participate in the November 6 election.  The Cincinnati NAACP is almost ready to begin to early vote on October 2, 2012.  "The great thing about the Cincinnati NAACP is our members vote.  Our team will impact the Ohio election by 10,000 votes," Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said.

CINCINNATI, OHIO - SEPTEMBER 9, 2012 - The Cincinnati NAACP extends its deepest condolences to the Waller family for their lost.  Phil Waller was a great father, husband, and businessman.  Phil Waller understood how to make money through real estate and was willing to share his knowledge with the African American Community.  He lived in Bond Hill over 40 years and contributed greatly to the success of that neighborhood. 

 

His funeral services will be held at Southern Baptist Church on Reading Road.  We have not received the date and time but will follow up with that information.  "Phil will be missed.  I will always remember how often he expressed his love for his wife and his children.  I can say that his greatest investment was his family," Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said.
 
(8/28/12): Baptist Ministers Conference Endorses CPS Renewal PDF Print E-mail
CINCINNATI, OHIO - AUGUST 28, 2012 - The Baptist Ministers Conference will campaign for the passage of the Cincinnati Public School (CPS) Renewal.  "Public education is critical for our children in Cincinnati.  This renewal does not increase taxes.  However, the passage of the renewal will help support the education of children," Dock Foster, President of the Baptist Minister Conference and Vicinity said. 
 
(8/27/12): Cincinnati NAACP Endorses Cincinnati School Renewal PDF Print E-mail

CINCINNATI, OHIO - AUGUST 27, 2012 - The Cincinnati NAACP Membership has endorsed the Cincinnati Public School (CPS) Renewal for the November ballot.  The renewal will not increase taxes.  It is important that Cincinnati NAACP members vote yes for the CPS renewal.  "The failure of the renewal would be devastating to public education in Cincinnati.  The Cincinnati NAACP will fight for its passage.  The great thing about our organization is that our members vote," Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said.
