NAACP Announces Major Change to 99th Annual Convention Program: U.S. Sen. Barack Obama Will Now Address Delegates on July 14U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic Party nominee for President of the United States, will address delegates and guests attending the 99th Annual NAACP Convention July 14 at 8 p.m. [The previous date was July 17.] The 99th Annual NAACP Convention will be held at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati, Ohio July 12-17. U.S. Sen. John McCain, the presumptive Republican Party nominee for the presidency, will address the convention July 16.
