CPS was caught inflating minority spending numbers for the Facilities Masterplan Project and now they can not identify contracts awarded to African Americans!
On 4/19/10, a Public Records Request was made to Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) requesting documentation for the African American owned companies portion of the reported $68 Million in minority contractor work performed on the CPS Facilities Masterplan project. On 4/23/10, CPS responded that "we found NO responsive records"! Unbelievable! CPS was caught inflating minority spending numbers for the Facilities Masterplan Project and now they can not identify contracts awarded to African Americans! .
