The Cincinnati NAACP will spare no expense in providing legal, moral, financial, and spiritual protection for Dock Foster, President of the Baptist Ministers Conference, as he goes to trial tomorrow morning at 9:00 am.  President Dock Foster was arrested in front of North Avondale Montessori School.  President Foster is facing 30 days in jail and a $250 fine. "CPS is spending $1.1 billion and excluding African American contractors off job sites with Jim Crow economic policies," Christopher Smitherman President of the Cincinnati NAACP says.  Superintendent Ronan and Board President Reed have both been subpoenaed.  However, Board Member Eileen Cooper Reed left the country and turned the Cincinnati School Board over to Eve Bolton.  "I am fasting in honor of President Dock Foster's sacrifice. The fast keeps my mind and spirit focused," Smitherman says.

The Cincinnati NAACP and Baptist Ministers Conference will host a press conference on the front steps of the Hamilton County Courthouse immediately after Judge Rucker's ruling.  The Cincinnati NAACP encourages members to take off work and be at the courthouse as early as possible.  "It is very important for our members to assemble in the hallway outside Judge Fanon Rucker's courtroom in the most respectful and honorable way.  After Judge Fanon Rucker rules I have identified a team of NAACP members who will share the outcome of the case.  All members should immediately exit the building and meet on the front steps of the Hamilton County Courthouse," Smitherman says.  The Cincinnati NAACP extends its heartfelt appreciation and thanks to Attorneys Christopher Finney, Larry Holley and Elizabeth Tye for all of the legal expertise they have provided.  Also the Cincinnati NAACP thanks 1230 AM the Buzz and the Cincinnati Herald for their support.
