July 20, 2010 Cincinnati NAACP Media Release . The Cincinnati NAACP was honored at the 2010 National NAACP Convention for membership growth. The Cincinnati NAACP has been honored 4 consecutive years by the National NAACP for superior membership growth. The Cincinnati NAACP is a strong team. The recent membership award is for membership growth in 2009. Many thanks should be extended to our branch secretary Michelle Edwards, treasurer Beverly Morton, office secretary Elizabeth Sanford, the Executive Committee and the Cincinnati NAACP Membership for processing and recruiting new members. The Cincinnati NAACP continues to drive new members because of the relevance of our institution. "The Cincinnati NAACP is honored to accept this award. The Cincinnati NAACP continues to process a high volume of memberships for 2010," Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP says.
