CINCINNATI, OHIO - FEBRUARY 15, 2011 - City Council Members have a bad
habit of sharing half the story.  City Council while faced with a
massive deficit dedicated a majority of casino revenue for the port
authority
, operation of the streetcar, and statues.  City council cut
funding for nurses but dedicated casino money for operating the
streetcar.  "This is about priorities. Over 4,000 children are
homeless that attend CPS schools," Christopher Smitherman, president
of the Cincinnati NAACP said.

Cincinnati City Council controls a $350 million operating budget.
Out of $750 million neither can identify $1 million to support nurses
in schools.  "This is not about having more money.  This is about
prioritizing," Smitherman says.
