Cincinnati NAACP President Juanita Adams calls for a transparent investigation regarding the tasing and death of UC student Everette Howard.

CINCINNATI, OHIO - AUGUST 16, 2011 - President Juanita Adams of the Cincinnati NAACP calls for a transparent investigation regarding the tasing and death of UC student Everette Howard. The Cincinnati NAACP extends its condolences to the Howard family. "There is nothing more painful than burying a child. This child was a good student and on track to be successful," Adams, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said. . UC leadership should hold a press conference explaining what happened to the community. The enrollment and retention of African Americans at UC has not been the best. "This kind of incident does not help recruit African American parents and students to attend UC. The Cincinnati NAACP Membership will discuss this issue at its August membership meeting," Adams said. |
