CINCINNATI, OHIO - APRIL 15, 2012 - The weekend has not concluded without more bloodshed in Cincinnati City Neighborhoods.  The African-American Community must own this issue to solve this problem.  "City Hall has no comprehensive plan to address the gun violence in African-American neighborhoods.  With five African-American Members on Council, a comprehensive plan to address violent crime with significant financial resources can be passed.  Cincinnati Initiative to Reduce Violence (CIRV) alone is not a comprehensive plan," Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said.
