Important Cincinnati NAACP Announcements.

• The Cincinnati NAACP is raising money for our legal fund in order to fight two issues.  (1) Cincinnati Public Schools  (2) The sale of Jewish Hospital to Mercy.  Checks should be made payable to the Cincinnati NAACP and legal fund should be written on the memo line. The Cincinnati NAACP number is 513-281-1900.  You may mail checks to the Cincinnati NAACP, 4439 Reading Rd., Suite 202, Cincinnati, OH 45229.  Every member and contractor should make a contribution to this effort. Freedom is not free. CPS has a deadline of February 19, 2010 at 5 p.m.!

• President of the Cincinnati NAACP Christopher Smitherman will be on Lincoln Ware Television Show on Channel 64 on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 6:30 am.  The topic is Cincinnati Public Schools and the exclusion of African American Contractors on the $1 billion project.

• Tune into Smitherman on the Mic tomorrow Saturday from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm on 1230 AM.

• There will be a job fair for African American Contractors on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 4:00 pm at Integrity Hall (2081 Seymour Ave).  Chase Elementary School will be discussed by the President of Turner. The Executive Committee of the Cincinnati NAACP can not stress the importance for contractors to be present.
