City Council continues to make massive cuts to metro.  These cuts result in route reductions across the city.

CINCINNATI, OHIO - FEBRUARY 23, 2011 - City Council continues to make
massive cuts to metro.  These cuts result in route reductions across
the city.  The city funds 50% of the metro budget.  The cuts city
council
continues to make will trigger a new levy.  The cuts will
trigger higher bus fares.  The cuts will trigger more route reductions
in the neighborhoods.  "City Council cannot afford the bus service.
However, they want Cincinnati citizens to believe we can afford a $200
million streetcar.  It is not progress to push Cincinnati into
bankruptcy," Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP
said.
