The retirement board will make the decision to cut benefits of approximately 5,000 city workers and the 7,000 retirees.  This pension board has made no recommendation to reduce the compensation of the  advisors who were paid $85 million and lost $1billion

CINCINNATI, OHIO - MARCH 15, 2011 -The retirement board will make the
decision to cut benefits of approximately 5,000 city workers and the
7,000 retirees.  City Council removed the previous pension board
within the last six months to "stack the deck" against retirees and
city workers.  "City Council will vote this Wednesday to break their
promise to the 7,000 retirees," Christopher Smitherman, president of
the Cincinnati NAACP said.

This pension board has made no recommendation to reduce the
compensation of the advisors who were paid $85 million and lost $1
billion
.  "As a matter of fact they have kept their jobs while city
council cuts the benefits of city workers and retirees," Smitherman
says.
