The Cincinnati NAACP mourns the loss of Roscoe A. Fultz, a member of the Cincinnati NAACP Executive Committee. We extend our deepest condolences and prayers for the loss of this giant in the City of Cincinnati.
CINCINNATI, OHIO - APRIL 16, 2012 - The Cincinnati NAACP mourns the loss of Roscoe A. Fultz. "Roscoe was a man who fought for justice his entire life. We are praying for his entire family but specifically for his daughter who has lost both parents in a short period of time. We extend our deepest condolences and prayers for the loss of this giant in the City of Cincinnati," Christopher Smitherman, president of the Cincinnati NAACP said. Roscoe Fultz was a pioneer at General Motors and was a member of several boards. Mr. Roscoe Fultz served as a Park Commissioner for the City of Cincinnati, long time member of the Democratic Party, and member of the Cincinnati NAACP Executive Committee among other roles. "Mr. Roscoe Fultz devotion to his family was something I always admired about him. His commitment to making sure that the democratic process worked for everyone was illustrated in his activism for equal access. Roscoe Fultz will be deeply missed" Smitherman said. .
